Ooooh mysterious goodie bags...! I was actually thinking about this the other day.. referring to one of my old blog posts (http://lovelylifeblog.blogspot.com/2010/01/happy-new-year.html) it looks like I achieved 2.5/4 of my goals. I went to Europe, and found my lipstick (Revlon Matte in Really Red). Unfortunately I haven't done anything drastic with my hair this year.. I still can't commit to a loose perm! Maybe next year haha.. As for being more open minded, well.. my coworker of 3 years said to me the other night she noticed a change in my style recently. But that might be because I have a part time job in retail now haha

Sweet giveaway, Erin!

Honestly, I don't even remember my New Years Resolutions but it was probably between the lines of...less splurging and studying more, which I failed to do. Ah, the wonderful distractions of online shopping and blogging.

From what I remember, my resolutions for this year (and pretty much every year!) were to eat healthier, exercise more and be more organized! I was finishing off my university masters program this year and that included a lot of late nights, studying for exams, presentations (aka STRESS) which affected my ideals of eating all the right things and keeping up with the exercise! Now that I am done university and looking for work, I do hope to eat better, exercise regularly by doing things I love to do, like swimming and snowshoeing! It has been a stressful year for me in 2010 but I am looking forward to 2011 :) The mystery beauty bag would be an amazing treat for me!

My New Year's Resolutions for this year were to slim down and read more books and I sort of did keep them. I've slim down a lot from last year and I have been reading a ton of books too. I didn't reach the number goals I had but I have been kept them to the best of my ability.

My New Year's Resolution in 2010 was to floss every evening (since a kid, I've been really horrible at flossing) - and I've kept it...that is, unless there wasn't any floss in the house. I'm pretty proud of myself as it didn't even take nearly as much work as I thought it would, and now these days I can't go to bed unless I've flossed my teeth so it really has become a deeply engrained habit. Here's to hoping that my next resolution is just as successful :)

I focused on bringing more positivity into my life, and I did exactly that throughout 2010. I think New Year's resolutions are all about our mindset. I changed my mindset in the beginning of 2010 and successfully brought positive change into my life. On to 2011! :)

I like to keep my resolutions light and positive, so mine were to be more awesome and drink more chocolate milk... I totally kept them both :)

Yay goody bags!!
MMMM I had a few! My main New Year resolution was to be more confident.. still working on it :P cheesy I know but I think its important! There is soooo much pressure to look a certain way when what everyone should be focusing on is enhancing their OWN personal beauty! Everyone is all different shapes, sizes, looks and it would be so boring if we were all he same!! Anyway... the other one is to, like lots of other people, start working out and get fit! So I can start playing my sports again after my knee injury! Also that helps with the feeling confident bit too:) So have I been doing that... its been a bit of hit and miss but finally at the end of the year can say I have been pretty good :)

I didn't officially make a resolution this year because they are pretty much the same every year and one of them was to get and stay fit and work out lots and I definitely did that!

Oooh - fun giveaway!

One of my new year's resolutions was to carry and use a resuseable shopping bag in my purse. I definitely did that and saved myself & the environment a lot of plastic bags in the process!

Wooo giveaways! :)

One of my new year's resolution was to build on my relationships with the people I love, and I did just that :) Also, to shop much, much less. Which I am pretty happy to say I managed to resist shopping. Been spending much lesser than usual, and finding good deals and thrift finds! My last resolution was to improve on my photography skills! 1 year later, and tons of photoshoots in between, I think I've reached that mark! Although I'm still constantly learning, I'm happy with where I'm at with my photography skills :)

While I did have a great year, I can't say I was 100% successful in my New Year's Resolution for 2010. (I really would have been more content landing a full-time position in my desired field, but I guess there is always next year!)
